Sharing blessings with Barangay Health Workers

IT’S a wonderful world, indeed! With the Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) of Alaminos City, the frontliners of health services, expressing their gratitude to former Pangasinan Rep Mark Cojuangco.
The feeling is mutual.
They feel loved, great, as Cojuangco always finds time to show his care and concern for them, especially during the Yuletide season.
In many of his speaking engagements with BHWs as his audience, Cojuangco, a gubernatorial candidate in 2016, has always emphasized that when he first ran as congressman, it was this sector which he had initially approached for help and support.
Year in, year out, Cojuangco’s gratitude becomes more intense as he reciprocates it by showering them, too, with his gift of love.
Medikalinga sa Pangasinan, a free and sustainable medical and surgical mission launched in August 2014, has served thousands of indigent Pangasinenses across Pangasinan.
Under the Medikalinga, Cojuangco and his running mate, Calasiao Mayor Mark Roy Macanlalay, are strongly supported by the BHWs across the province by attending to the poor and needy people seeking medical attention, particularly those suffering from cyst, hernia, myoma, hemorrhoids, cleft palate, goiter, and the boys requiring circumcision, and other ailments that need surgical operation.
For the great success of the BHWs who tirelessly help the less fortunate Pangasinenses through the Medikalinga, Cojuangco, with Macanlalay and Alaminos City officials led by Mayor Arthur Celeste, made their Christmas 2015 memorable in their get-together last December 16.
Cojuangco is mobbed by BHWs eagerly wanting to have souvenir pictures with him for posterity while others took groupie pictures with the former congressman using their cellular phones.
It was an occasion worth remembering, especially with the smiles, laughter and cheers they all shared with Cojuangco and his party.
