IN the wake of recent violent incidents reported in Bonuan Gueset, P/Superintendent Christopher Abrahano, chief of the Dagupan Police Station, urged Dagupan City residents to be alert and be vigilant to help protect themselves against criminals.

Abrahano recently met with officer and members of the Tondaligan Blue Beach Subdivision in Baranggay Bonuan Gueset, prompted by the dumping of a body of an unidentified man near the gate of the subdivision.

Attached to the corpse of a slim 5’4 man, was a piece of paper with the message “Huwag akong pamarisan. Ako ay magnanakaw at nagtutulak.”

Initial police investigation revealed the victim was a resident of Barangay Lasip in Dagupan

In his meeting with leaders of the subdivision at Brgy. Kagawad Suzette Pal’s residence, Abrahano advised residents to be watchful and vigilant in order to help protect themselves from criminals.

Last week, a woman from Bayambang visited a friend in the subdivision and was stabbed after a failed rape attempt by an employee of a water distributor in San Fabian. The suspect was arrested by the responding police.

She sustained three stab wounds on different parts of her body, but she survived the attack. (Jun Velasco)
