DOST’s ICT roadshow held
LINGAYEN– The Department of Science and Technology’s Information and Communications Technology Office (DOST-ICTO) held the Luzon leg of the Information Technology-Business Process Management (IT-BPM) roadshow last September 10 -11 in the town.
Francis Divino Fernandez, charter president of Metro-Dagupan ICT, said the event gathered local stakeholders in Pangasinan together with IT-BPM industry leaders from Manila and engaged provincial and local chief executives in a forum to promote countryside development and job generation.
The roadshow identified career opportunities particularly those available in their own locality and encourage them to engage in ITpreneurship. (VHS/AMM/PIA-1, Pangasinan)
