LINGAYEN— The efforts to improve the services and facilities in three provincial hospitals continue with the expected arrival of more technically advanced medical equipment.

The Pangasinan Provincial Hospital (PPH) is due to receive a fully automated chemistry analyzer; the Western Pangasinan District Hospital (WPDH) will have its own glycohemoglobin analyzer, while and the Mangatarem District Hospital (MDH) will soon offer services of an electrolyte analyzer.

This was assured after the provincial board passed a resolution to facilitate the undertaking by authorizing Gov. Amado Espino Jr. to enter into and sign the memoranda of agreement with Marc Ernan Enterprises and Techxon Philippine Ventures for the delivery the equipment.

“The much-needed equipment will expand the services to the people of Pangasinan, especially the underprivileged,” said Board Member Napoleon Fontelera Jr., the resolution author.

Four provincial government hospitals- PPH, Bayambang District Hospital, Bolinao Community Hospital, and the Pozorrubio Community Hospital have already benefitted from the project. (Johanne Macob)
