Cojuangco tells students: Dream and work on it

COJUANGCO UPDATES

FORMER Fifth District Rep. Mark Cojuangco lauded the outstanding students from the nine campuses of Pangasinan State University (PSU) who were fittingly honored Thursday in the first Gawad Parangal sa Natatanging Mag-aaral at the Sison Auditorium, Lingayen.

Cojuangco, who was warmly received by the PSU administration led by its president, Dr. Dexter Buted, advised the students about perseverance and to struggle against odds as very important key to success.

He said after their graduation, their achievement would usher in the start of their continuing quest for success and excellence in their chosen field of endeavors.

He also asked the teachers to provide the strong educational foundation to their students and to treat and love them as their own children. Be an inspiration to them, he said.

He narrated to them inspiring life stories of poor children who worked hard to be somebody someday in the world of business. Estrella recalled the stories of the owners of Jollibee, Vista Land, Zest-O/Zest Air and even the PSU president himself that should inspire them, that in life, “there is hope to liberate ourselves from poverty, from being poor and helpless”.
