LINGAYEN– Second District Rep. Leopoldo Bataoil said the early passage of the PNP Modernization Bill will not only promote efficiency through more and improved facilities and equipment but will encourage “professionalism, modernization, and reorganization of the PNP including the SAF and other operating and administrative units.”

He said all salient points and amendments from previous discussions have been incorporated in the substitute bill yet to be tackled at the plenary, he added.

“We have to support the PNP heavily with equipment: patrol cars, helicopters, among others,” he remarked. (Johanne Macob)
