COUPLES TIE THE KNOT IN MASS WEDDING—A total of 60 couples tie the knot on Friday, October 24, 2014 during the “Kasalan ed PAMMA” held at Pangasinan Merchant Marine Academy (PAMMA) Gymnasium, Perez Boulevard, Dagupan City solemnized by Mayor Belen T. Fernandez. The mass wedding is a joint project of Pangasinan Merchant Marine Academy (PAMMA) and Mayor Belen T. Fernandez through the City Population Office. PAMMA sponsored the wedding event as part of its corporate social responsibility. Dr. Joel Rey Decano, PAMMA Vice President for Academic Affairs said that this is the first time the university held a mass wedding and assured that the university will continue to support the local government’s social programs and activities.
