5 wanted persons arrested on Oct. 1
LINGAYEN– Five warrants of arrests issued by the courts were served to suspects by various police operatives in the province in one day, October 1.
The Basista Police Station arrested Apha Ignacio for the crime of robbery.
The Mangatarem police operatives arrested Rodrigo Saringan, a former CAFGU who is wanted for the crime of rape through sexual assault.
In Urdaneta City, Marilou Salvador, a businesswoman was arrested for violation of section 10(a), article 6 of the Republic Act 7610 or the Special Protection of Children Against Child Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act.
In San Carlos City, city policemen collared Rizalino Destura for reckless imprudence resulting in physical injury and damage to property while the manhunt for Martin Cosme, a prime suspect in a murder case, resulted in his arrest.
All the suspects wanted by the courts are now detained after failing to post bail bonds. (Johanne R. Macob)
