SOME 1, 000 grade one and kinder garden pupils from selected public schools here received free school bags with school supplies, raincoat and whistle donated by friends of Councilor Jeslito Seen on Tuesday.

“I collect donations from volunteer sectors so there won’t be a need to use the funds of the local government for this project”, said Seen. A whistle was added in the pack since it can be useful in emergency cases such as calamities among others.

The project’s main sponsors were The CSI Group of Companies and the Rotary Club of Central Pangasinan.

The schoolchildren’s supplies were distributed in West Central Elementary School, Mangin Elementary School, Caranglaan Elementary School, Calmay Elementary School and Carael Elementary School. (Hilda M. Austria)
