Fish processors undergo orientation on seafood program
FISH processors in Dagupan City were hosted in an orientation seminar on seafood processing in order not only to improve their capabilities but to understand how they could expand their business activities in tune with Mayor Belen Fernandez’s economic thrust.
The orientation focused on various activities like corporate planning, meeting with appointed contractor of common service deboning facility, meeting with identified bangus processing firms, and meetings with Department of Trade and Industry (DTI)-Region I and Pangasinan.
The orientation also included a discussion on the industry brand ‘Dagupan’s Best’, entrepreneurial commitment, directions and guidance in hygienic and sanitary design and construction of the deboning facility, orientation on program components, activities and commitments and the discussion of national road map on bangus; harmonization with Dagupan Seafood Program. – (CIO/JCB)
