AN unsuspecting retired policeman was stabbed to death while talking to a group in his neighbor’s house Tuesday night in Barangay Bolosan, Dagupan City.

Dead was Melanio Edades, 65, married while the suspect was identified by witnesses as Reynante Peralta, 31, both residents of said place.

Edades was drinking coffee while talking to a group having a drinking session near his house when Peralta suddenly appeared, mauled and stabbed him several times.

The suspect immediately fled but follow-up operation of policemen led to his surrender to SPO1 Rodel Peralta.

The police filed murder case against him.
