SEVERAL tricycle operators and drivers associations (TODAs) in Pangasinan and neighboring provinces received on April 28 one free motorcycle each from Honda Philippines, Inc.

“It’s our way of appreciating the support of our customers,” said Lemuel Buenaflor, advertising section head of the company.

The TODA federations that received the motorcycles were the Federation of Accredited Tricycles Organization in Dagupan City, Federation of Alaminos City TODA, Brotherhood-TODA, Old Slaughter House-TODA, Federation of Villasis -TODA, Metro Tayug-TODA, Cabugao Ilocos Sur-TODA, Metro Vigan Federation of TODA, and Nueva Ecija-TODA.

The project, undertaken in coordination with Guanzon Merchandizing Corp., was also Honda’s contribution to Dagupan City’s Bangus Festival celebration.

Arnold Guillen, assistant general manager of Guanzon, said the TODAs were chosen based on the standards of legitimacy, leadership in the association, and the commitment to maintain the unit.

Buenaflor said 30 units have so far been awarded to different TODA federations in the country.–Johanne R. Macob
