BIG companies kept on coming to seal their support to the ‘Bangus Festival’ from April 1 to May 1 with Mayor Belen T. Fernandez as honorary executive chairman.

Among these was  Smart Communications, Inc., which signed a Memorandum of Agreement with Fernandez on March 24 with a promise to provide the Bangus Festival access to the world by providing free wi-fi, free calls and text services to thousands of people attending the Bangusan Street Party on April 30.

This was revealed jointly by Renan Santiago, area manager of SMART’s Northern Luzon distributor group and Smart  Regional Sales Manager for Northern Luzon Gilbert Tan when they signed the MOA.

Fernandez hailed the participation of  Smart as one  of the  major sponsors of the festival  saying this year’s theme ‘Bangus Festival Goes International’ will certainly  be achieved. (CIO)
