DTI-Pangasinan scores in anti-red tape survey
THE Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Pangasinan office scored high in a survey on its compliance with the anti-red tape law.
Persons who have done business with the agency and participated in the Anti-Red Tape Act Report Card Survey (ARTA-RCS) conducted by the Civil Service Commission (CSC), gave an overall rating of 93.78 out of 100.
The survey participants availed of DTI-Pangasinan’s frontline services such as business name registration, service and repair shop, issuance of sales promotion permit, and complaints handling.
RCS is a structured tool for actual gathering of clients’ feedback on government agencies’ frontline services that seeks to reduce bureaucratic red tape and preventing graft and corruption.
Director Lyrma Oalin of the CSC-Lingayen field office awarded the certificate of outstanding rating to DTI headed by Provincial Director Peter Mangabat last Wednesday.
Mangabat said the recognition serves as an inspiration for them to continue providing good service to the public.(PIA1-Pangasinan/AMM)
