DAGUPAN CITY–A 30-year old man was shot and killed by hitmen riding in tandem along Galvan St. here at about 12:40 a.m. of  January 2.

The fatality was identified as Michael Carino, a former member of a fraternity group, who was shot in different parts of his body by suspects on board a black Honda TMX motorcycle without a plate.

Residents who were near the scene said they saw the victim using his cellphone to send text messages to a still unidentified person when gunned down.

The victim sustained four gunshot wounds and died on the spot.

Recovered from the scene were four fired cartridges of  Cal. 45 pistol
