LINGAYEN–Team Benchmarks is this year’s champion in the provincial government’s employees’ annual sportsfest dubbed Angguan tan Ehersisyo ed Kapitolyo (ATE-K).

Last December 18, Governor Amado Espino Jr. and Vice Governor Jose Ferdinand Calimlim Jr. led the awarding of trophies and cash prizes to the best teams and players at the Sison Auditorium.

Calimlim said such activities have contributed to the camaraderie among workers as well as boost performance in their respective work areas.

Malaki na ang pinagbago ng professionalism at galing ng mga empleyado,” said Calimlim.

Team Generals was first runner-up, followed by Warriors. Other teams who battled in 11 events were the Builders, Financiers, Legislators, and Medics.

Initiated by Espino to promote physical fitness, camaraderie and sportsmanship, ATE-K was first launched in 2010.- Johanne R. Macob
