P6M MANGROVE CENTER—Alaminos City Mayor Arthur Celeste (left), Metro Pacific Investments Corporation (MPIC) Vice-President for Public Relations and Corporate Communications Melody Del Rosario (2nd from left) and OIC Provincial Agriculturist Dolly Moya (3rd from right) lead the groundbreaking of the P6 million Mangrove Propagation Information Center at Barangay Bued in Alaminos City. The activity was part of the 5th year anniversary celebration of the Shore It Up project of MPIC headed by Manny V. Pangilinan. With a common goal to protect the environment, SIU merged with Gov. Amado T. Espino Jr.’s Save the Lingayen Gulf (SLING) campaign for the implementation of various environmental projects like the simultaneous coastal clean-up.
