“NUMBER 1” FOR CHESS—The country’s future grandmasters join Gov. Amado T. Espino, Jr. for the “number one sign” photo op after the awarding of winners in the 3rd Pangasinan Age Group Chess Championships. The tournament, sponsored by the provincial government last October 19-20, was participated in by 202 players from Pangasinan, Tarlac, Zambales, La Union, Ilocos Sur, Nueva Vizcaya, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Cavite, Baguio City and cities in the NCR.
