DTI-Pangasinan bags BSP’s best partner award

DAGUPAN CITY, Oct 18 (PIA) – The Department of Trade and Industry-Pangasinan provincial office was cited as Outstanding Partner for Report on Regional Economic Developments in Region I by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas.

The award is in recognition of DTI’s consistent provision of vital economic indicators to the BSP deemed important for the annual publication of the Report on Regional Economic Developments in the Philippines (REDP).

DTI Provincial Director Peter Mangabat received the award from BSP Monetary Board Member Armando Suratos and BSP Regional Director Ruben Banog in ceremonies conducted at the BSP regional office in La Union province.

Other awardees as “Outstanding Partners” included: National Statistical Coordination Board-Regional Division for Report on Regional Economic Developments in Region CAR; Currimao Aluminum Corporation (for Large and Medium Firms-Business Expectations Survey or BES); Campaign and Coin Recirculation Program Consolidated Adhesives, Inc  (Hall of Fame Awardee as Outstanding Respondent Among Small Firms (BES); Junior Financial Executives-Urdaneta City University for Clean Note Policy; and Texas Instruments Philippines, Inc. for Inter Company Account -Cross Border Transaction Survey.  (VHS/PIA1-Pangasinan)
