SAN CARLOS CITY—Combined police elements arrested on Wednesday the known leader of a cattle rustling and gun-for-hire group called Bacani Gang operating here and in nearby Urbiztondo town.

Superintendent Rodolfo Castro Jr., police chief here, reported the arrest of Albert dela Cruz, resident of Barangay Balite Sur here who is wanted for murder with no bail recommended.

His arrest was based on a warrant issued by Judge Hermogenes Fernandez of the regional trial court branch 56.—Eva Visperas
