A SEMINAR on breastfeeding was hosted by SM City Rosales last August 16 as part of the SM Supermalls’ program promoting the importance and health benefits of breastfeeding.

Provincial Health Officer Dr. Anna Maria Teresa De Guzman gave pointers on the advantages of breastfeeding and insights on the breastfeeding law.

Other resource speakers were Dr. Gladys Palagud-Golabi of the Family Health Care Clinic and Birthing Home and Occupational Health physicians Anna Alarcio and Gretchen Francisco.

Aside from mothers, among those invited to attend were nursing students and members of the Women’s League of Rosales.

SM Supermalls holds an annual Breastfeeding celebration is part of its Corporate Social Responsibility Program for Women and Breastfeeding.

Since 2006, SM Supermalls has been setting up breastfeeding stations in its malls to provide comfort and convenience to breastfeeding mothers.
