STRUCK BY A LIGHTNING—A statue of former Philippine President Manuel L. Quezon on one of the islands in the Hundred Islands National Park in Alaminos City, named in his honor, was struck by a lightning, leaving it faceless. Mayor Art Celeste said the damaged statue will be restored as soon as possible. Quezon was born on August 19 and is known as “Ama ng Wikang Pambansa”. (Punchphoto by Willie Lomibao)
