Recruitment for medical workers to M.E. set Aug. 5-6
THE Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) in Region 1 will hold a Special Recruitment Activity (SRA) for medical job opportunities in Qatar and Saudi Arabia on August 5-6, 2013 at the Public Employment Service Office in Dasol.
DOLE Regional Director Grace Ursua said the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) has approved the job orders of a licensed recruitment agency for doctors (general practitioners), pharmacists, nurses, x-ray technicians, laboratory technicians and others.
Other professionals and skilled workers like engineers, pipe fitters, tile fixers, plumbers, steel fabricators, among others, are also needed in Saudi Arabia.
The compensation packages include basic salary, accommodation and transportation allowance.
In Qatar, general medical practitioners will receive 14,200 Qatari Riyal; pharmacists are paid 4,900 QR; nurses, 3,400 QR; laboratory technicians, 3,600 QR; and x-ray technicians, 3,400 QR.
