LBC Remittance Center burglarized on Independence Day
LINGAYEN–Unidentified suspects had a different idea to celebrate Independence Day. They barged into the office of the LBC Money Remittance Center on Avenida Rizal East in Poblacion here on the night of June 12 and helped themselves to a still undetermined amount of items, parcels and cash..
The robbery was discovered by Jonalyn Paiso, 28, officer-in-charge of LBC, when she reported for work the next day at 7 a.m.
Investigation showed the culprits gained entrance through the galvanized roofing of the establishment. The suspects also exited also through the roof, bringing with them loots of still undetermined amount but the cash money amounting to P216, 715 kept in the vault was intact.
Found inside the LBC office was one lighter with markings believed to have been used by the suspects and one red LBC give-away t-shirt.
Follow-up operation was immediately launched by the police for the identification and apprehension of the suspects.
