Team PNoy beats UNA 9-3 in Pangasinan survey
IT’S nine from Team PNoy and three from the United Nationalist Alliance (UNA) for Pangasinan’s choices for senator based on the result of a survey conducted by Quezon City-based Data Advisors, Inc. as commissioned by an investor named David Sanchez.
The results showed that Senator Loren Legarda of Team PNoy leads with a 65.2 percent vote share, followed by teammate Alan Cayetano with 58.7, Nancy Binay of UNA in third spot with 58.7 percent.
In fourth place is Cynthia Villar, also of Team Pnoy with 58.2 percent, followed by Chiz Escudero, also of Team PNoy, 56.7 percent.
Two other Team PNoy bets who made it to the Pangasinan 12 are Edgardo Angara with 54.5 percent and Grace Poe with 53.6 percent.
In 8th and 9th places, respectively, are UNA bets Juan Ponce Enrile Jr., 48.4 percent, and JV Ejercito Estrada, 46.9 percent.
President Benigno Aquino III’s first cousin Benigno Bam Aquino is in 10th place, followed by Koko Pimentel and Antonio Trillanes IV.
Within striking distance are Gregorio Honasan of UNA in 13th place, followed by the following in descending order Ramon Magsaysay Jr. of Team PNoy, Richard Gordon of UNA, Riza Hontiveros of Team PNoy, and Migz Zubiri.
The survey was given a maximum margin of error of 2.8 percent.
The survey on Voters Preferences on Senatorial Candidates was conducted simultaneously with the survey for provincial and congressional candidates in three cities and 44 towns of the province from April 19 to 25. (See related story on page 1)
Dagupan was not included as a sample area because its electorate is not voting for provincial officials being an independent component city.
There were 2,500 respondents drawn proportionately from all the sampled areas based on the total number of registered voters.
