San Carlos celebrates Women’s Month
SAN CARLOS CITY—The Celebration of Women’s Month 2013 here kicks off on March 8 with a parade around major streets at 7:00 a.m., followed by the opening program at the city gym.
The Women’s Month celebration, spearheaded by the Local Council for Women headed by Suzanne D. Resuello, wife of Mayor Julier C. Resuello, has the theme “Kababaihan: Gabay sa Pagtahak sa Tuwid na Daan”.
Among the activities lined up are the Search for Mrs. Buntis 2013 on the opening day, blood letting on March 12, free dental check-up on March 22 and a lecture on Prevention and Control of AIDS/HIV, sexually-transmitted diseases, and reproductive infections with Dr. Rico Reyes, consultant at the Region I Medical Center, as speaker, at the Bulwagan at city hall.
