3rd Jimmy Fernandez Cup opening reset to December
THE start of the 3rd Jimmy Fernandez Invitational Basketball Cup has been reset to first week of December
Eight collegiate basketball teams in Pangasinan and Dagupan City led by defending champion Binalonan-based University of Eastern Pangasinan (UEP) are participating in the event.
The other leagues are last season’s runner-up University of Luzon – Team B (UL-B), Pangasinan Merchant Marine Academy (PAMMA), Colegio de Dagupan (CdD), PIMSAT Colleges, Urdaneta City University and Pan-Pacific University North Philippines from Urdaneta City, and from Malasiqui, Perpetual Help University System.
The champion will represent Region I in the National Students Basketball Championships in Naga City in March next year.–Philamer C. Celi
