PDEA nets 3 drug dealers
TWO suspected pushers in the province were recently arrested by agents of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Regional Office 1-Pangasinan Sector Special Enforcement Team shortly after the most wanted drug dealer in Region 1 was successfully entrapped by a separate PDEA team last January 24 following a buy-bust operation.
Apprehended in San Carlos City were Roberto Dela Cruz and Isidro Caita after they sold four sachets of shabu weighing approximately 17.2 grams to a poseur-buyer.
Meanwhile PDEA Director General Undersecretary Arturo G. Cacdac, Jr. identified the most wanted suspect as Bryan Tilles, 25, a resident of Barangay Lioac Norte, Naguilian, La Union.
Tilles was arrested in Barangay Lioac after he sold four sachets of shabu, to a PDEA agent disguised as a buyer.
Various drug paraphernalia and the two P500 marked bills used during the transaction were confiscated from Tilles.
Tilles was under tight surveillance for his involvement in the proliferation of shabu in the municipalities of Naguilian and Bauang, La Union,” Cacdac said.
The buy-bust operation against Tilles was led by PDEA RO1 under Director Jeoffrey Tacio,
The three suspects are now facing charges for violation of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs), Article II, of Republic Act 9165, or the “Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
