THIRD District Rep. Generoso Tulagan has declared his unqualified support for retired police General Reynaldo Velasco and his Team Victorey in Sta. Barbara.

“He is growing stronger everyday as more and more people are trooping to his sorties just to listen and to see him in person. He is being looked up to now not only as a living hero but a liberator and reformist leader in Sta. Barbara,” Tulagan told party guests at his farm in Balingew, Sta. Barbara who attended his wife’s birthday bash.

His son Generoso “Jun” Tulagan Jr. is seeking a seat to replace his father who has a solid track record of performance for nine years.

Tulagan is the latest Pangasinan leader to declare his support for Velasco.

Earlier, leaders of various civic, youth and religious groups particularly the majority of the Daniel Maramba National High School have thrown their support for his mayoralty bid, including former Sta. Barbara mayors Feliciano “Ato” Bautista, Carlos Pontawi, Vice Mayor Calaguio, Sta. Lucia basketball star Marlou Aquino, among others.

Velasco’s network of advisers, friends and supporters in Pangasinan and Metro Manila, including former Executive Secretary Renato de Villa, Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) president Donald Dee, former Pangasinan Gov. Oscar M. Orbos, Engr. Rosendo So of the Abono Party List, former Gov. Tito Primicias and his sister Marieta Primicias Goco, and the Maramba clan led by Hilarion Henares.

Velasco formed a very formidable line up in Sta. Barbara teaming up with former Vice Mayor Ruben Jose, four of the top incumbent councilors led by Dr. Emmanuel Cabangon, Al Parayno, Ampoy Ocampo and Panis Francisco, comebacking ex-councilors Rolly Pasao and Pruto Jimenez, Brgy. Captain Raul Loresco and GMA 7 reporter Boyet Paragas.

Velasco said he is touched and elated over the outpouring of support for his mayoralty bid and that he is more than ever determined, optimistic and inspired to serve his townmates and to go all out to ensure Team Victorey in the coming elections.

“This is now my new fight with the people of Sta. Barbara. It is my vow to make Sta. Barbara a model town in governance, peace and progress,” said Velasco.
