The Barangay Associations for National Advancement and Transparency (BANAT) party list gathered a throng of supporters as the group toured northern Luzon from April 21-24.

Members of barangay associations and other social groups supporting BANAT lined the highways to welcome the passing motorcade in Pangasinan and La Union.

Atty. Raul Lambino, BANAT party list second nominee, said, “We appreciate the tremendous support the people of Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Pangasinan and La Union have shown. This is truly overwhelming and we expect the same warm endorsement in other provinces.”

Lambino claimed that revealing BANAT’s nominees to the public helped

He added, “Disclosing our nominees to the public allowed the common tao to evaluate if the leader-representatives we have are capable to carry the platform of the party list to create a progressive impact in Congress. I guess the public is tired of the disruptive party lists and personalities who focus mainly on interrupting governance to promote communist-type agenda.”

Aside from Lambino, the BANAT nominees are Former Education Undersecretary Salvador Britanico (1st nominee); Anti-aging doctor Dr. Joel Mendes (3rd); Dr. Ricardo San Juan (4th); and Atty. Rodolfo Salazar (5th).

The party list’s motorcade was held alongside the campaign group of Team Unity senatorial candidate Prospero Pichay.

Lambino also announced that BANAT has decided to endorse the Senate bid of Pichay.
