URDANETA CITY—Elementary pupils of Sobol Elementary School in San Nicolas town received gifts and were treated to a day of fun by D.A. Rodrigo International, a licensed recruitment agency based in Barangay San Vicente this city.

The company’s president, Ela Marietta Rodrigo, said the activity is part of their corporate social responsibility program and that the choice of the beneficiary school was based on a referral by her high school classmate.

Aside from the feast prepared for the students and their teachers, the children were given slippers and school supplies, while a television was donated to the school as an added learning tool.

D. A. Rodrigo International, which started operations in 1996, has been sending Filipino workers to various countries like Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Brunei and Malaysia.—Eva Visperas
