MINING MONSTERS—Despite a cease and desist order by the Mines and Geo-Sciences Bureau, the alleged illegal mining operation of Alexandra Mining and Oil Ventures along the shoreline of Lingayen continues.  Residents of four barangays in the surrounding areas are protesting its operations and the provincial government that originally invited the company to help in its golf course project, has expressed full support to the communities’ petition.
