URDANETA CITY—A motorcycle driver died when his vehicle collided head-on with a Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) along the national highway in Barangay Anonas here at 10:45 p.m. on Christmas day.

The fatality was identified as Michael Tarape, 26, of Barangay Balangobong in Binalonan, who was driving a Honda motorcycle and not wearing a helmet.

Tarape’s vehicle came head-to-head with a Hyundai Santa Fe SUV driven by Clifford Gonadan, a business development engineer from La Trinidad, Benguet who was unscathed in the accident.

The wife of the victim agreed to a settlement with Gonadan and no charges were filed.
