35 broadcasters get KBP accreditation
THIRTY-FIVE out of 41 examinees passed the accreditation exam for the Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas held in Dagupan City last month.
Melanie Grace Heng of ABS-CBN North Central Luzon topped this year’s exam with a score of 90 points while Nica Margarette Tomines, also of ABS-CBN, came in second with 89 points.
Tied at third place are Michelle Collado of DWHR/Manila Broadcasting Corporation and Charlotte Visperas of DZRD /Sonshine Media Network with 83 points.
Completing the top ten passers are: 4th place – Roger Codnita of DZRD/SSMC (81 points); 5th place – Mark Anthony Ignacio of DWHR/MBC and Brenda Villanueva of DZUL/SEASKY (80 pts); 6th – Benjamin Lagazo, Jr. of DZRD/SSMC (78); Lelia Sy (DZRD/SSMC (77 pts); 8th – Ma. Jemaimah Kenneth Ordonez of DZWN/CBSI (76 pts); 9th – Rydae Melenie Corpuz of DWIS/MBC (75 pts) and; 10th –Gonzalo T. Duque of DWCM/MBC (74 pts).
Outgoing KBP-Pangasinan chapter president Bernie Errasquin said broadcasters who are not fully accredited by KBP are not allowed to announce or comment on air in KBP accredited stations.
He urged other broadcasters to take the accreditation exams next year. (PIA-Pangasinan)
