Ashok donates computers to Dagupan
THREE computer units were donated by philanthropist Ashok Vasandani last Wednesday to Dagupan to help in the city government’s campaign against illegal drugs.
“Two of these computer units will go to REACH Training Center in Barangay Poblacion Oeste, and one for the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Dagupan,” Vasandani said when he turned over the equipment to Mayor Benjamin Lim.
“We want to be a part of the city’s activities, and we see this opportunity as a privilege to our group,” said Vasandani, who represents the Phil-Indian Community and the More Than Conquerors Breakfast Club.
In thanking Vasandani, Lim said, “These computers donated by these Non Governmental Organizations (NGOs), as represented by our dear friend, selfless leader, Ashok Vasandani are of great help to the city’s campaign against the social scourge and to Technical Consultant Lempton Agricola whose team regularly provides free services on drug counseling, drug prevention and basic computer lessons for all Dagupeños.” (CIO)
