Policy forum on RH bill set Aug. 19
A POLICY forum on the Responsible Parenthood Reproductive Bill is set on Aug. 19 at the Lyceum-Northwestern University in Dagupan.
Fifth District Rep. Kimi Cojuangco will discuss the features and salient provisions of the proposed law.
Others who will join the forum on the RP-RH Bill now pending in Congress, are Dr. Eden Divinagracia, PNGOC executive director, Benjamin D. De Leon, president of the Forum, and Oscar Mabalot, Regional Director of the Commission on Population (POPCOM) Region 1.
The forum is sponsored by the Philippine NGO Council on Population, Health and Welfare Inc. (PNGOC), in partnership with the Philippine Legislators’ Committee on Population and Development Foundation (PLCPD), the Forum for Family Planning and Development (FORUM), the Reproductive Health Advocacy Network (RHAN) and in coordination with the Professional Caregivers Association of the Philippines (PCAP) and POPCOM.
A press conference will follow the forum.
