GMA Network’s singing competition Protégé held auditions in Dagupan City last weekend with former Side A lead vocalist Joey Generoso leading the search.

Hundreds trooped to the CSI Mall to try out for the three slots, winners of which willjoin the grand competition in September dubbed “Protégé: The Battle for the Big Break”.

Generoso, a mentor to upcoming singers, said he had a difficult time choosing the three finalists as many of the competitors showed exceptional talent.

Protégé is open for solo, duo, trio and group acts of all ages.
