THIS year’s “Annual Summer Bowling League” sponsored by The United Pangasinenses of America, Inc. (UPAI) will start on August 7 at the Classic Bowling Center in Daly City.

The league, which will run for 12 weeks and end on Nov. 6, is dubbed “Bowl For A Cause” as the tournament proceeds will benefit UPAI’s scholarship program.

The participating teams are Calasiao – Pres. Betty Junio, team manager, Fred Junio, team captain; Mabini – Pres. Alvin Padilla, team manager; Bayambang*1 – Pres. Emma Torres, team manager, Rudy Junio, team captain; Bayambang*2 – Marlon Torres, team captain; San Carlos City – Pres. Romulo Arenas, team manager, Juluis Dela Cruz, team captain; San Manuel Team – Bernie Gabriel, team manager; Dagupan City*1 – Eva Aquino, team manager, Ben Aquino, team captain; Dagupan City*2 – Pres. Marlene Garibay, team manager, Ramon Ledesma, team captain and Lingayen – Mario Panoringan, team manager and Ral Dasco, team captain.

Team and individual trophies and cash prizes will be awarded during the UPAI Christmas Party on December 11at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Burlingame, California.
