Japanese firm holds job fair

SAN CARLOS CITY–Japanese firm Wu Kong (S) Pte.Ltd. expects to recruit workers during a four-day job fair  scheduled here and in Bayambang from December 3 to 6.

The activity, called Victorey Job Fair, will be held at the Ramos Espanol Building in Bayambang on December 3 from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and at the PRSO building here on December 4 to 6 in cooperation with the Office of San Carlos City Mayor Julian Resuello and Vice Mayor Julier Resuello. 

The company was invited by retired Police Deputy Director General Reynaldo Velasco, for the benefit of job-seekers in the province, particularly from the third district.

Velasco said Wu Kong has 600 job openings for engineering graduates, including positions as production assistant supervisors, production team leaders, safety engineers; office staff personnel; factory workers; and welders and maintenance crew.

Wu Kong is an ISO 9001-2000 certified company engaged in the manufacture   of   prefabricated wood, glass and steel components of Japanese houses using state-of-the-art technology. It has a strong tie-up with Suzuki Philippines.

Ito Odajima, administrative officer of the company, will personally come to launch the jobs fair and interview applicants. — LM
