PINK ORCHID AWARD–The Region 1 Medical Center (R1MC) received the distinction as a Pink Orchid awardee from the Department of Health Criteria for implementing the “100% Tobacco Free Environment in Government Offices, Hospitals and Local Government Units” program. The award was given on May 31, celebrated as World No Tobacco Day, in Manila. Present during the ceremony were Dr. Myrna Mendoza, Ms. Pacita Garcia and Atty. Manuel Aoanan, who received the award for R1MC.
