Call center school opens slots for local scholars
THE president of the Dagupan-based North Asia Call Center Academy (NACCA) has called on local government officials to help their constituents in landing a white collar job with a salary equal to the pay of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) without the sacrifice of separation from family via scholarships.
NACCA president Phines Marin urged the officials to send candidates to their school for training under a scholarship program and recommended that they coordinate with the Technical Education Skills Development Authority (TESDA) for additional financial support for their scholars.
Marin said NACCA has a quota of 50 call center agents weekly, or total of 200 monthly, for deployment to call centers based at the Subic Freeport Zone in Zambales, Clark Economic Zone in Pampanga and Makati in Metro Manila.
The school is equipped with high- tech computers, teaching aids and has a high standard of instructions consistent with the demands for quality education.
The academy has been continuously producing competitive and high-caliber graduates who gain personal confidence as a result of the technology transfer from highly trained instructors.
To date, she said, her school has about 100 students in both the call center and caregiver courses. Training in these courses takes an average of 100 days each and immediate employment thereafter is guaranteed.
North Asia Call Center Academy is based at 3/F Abarabar Building on Perez Blvd., Dagupan City and at RCBC Building, Alaminos City. – A.P.E.
