Deputy provincial warden faces admin raps
THE province’s deputy provincial warden and 14 other jail guards are facing administrative charges following the escape of four inmates last month.
Rogelio Paglingayen, the deputy provincial warden, and eight jail guards were charged following the escape of three prisoners on January 7, according to Provincial Legal Officer Geraldine Baniqued.
Six more guards were charged after the escape of another inmate on January 25.
Baniqued said the provincial jail facilities are better than most around the country and it is not overcrowded with less than 200 inmates in holding. (PIA-Pangasinan)
