50 pass KBP accreditation exam in R1
FIFTY broadcasters passed the regional Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas accreditation exam conducted on January 29.
The KBP Standards Authority based in Makati City released last week the results of the examination for Region 1’s radio and television broadcasters from Ilocos Sur, Ilocos Norte, La Union, Pangasinan and Baguio City.
Virginia Velasco, KBP performance officer, said the exam makes up 50 percent of the accreditation process and an evaluation by the station manager accounts for the other 50 percent.
Bryan Realgo of DWRD TV7- ABS-CBN topped the exam with a score of 88 followed by Ernest Lorenz Vidal of DZRR ABS-CBN scoring 86. Third were Venus May Hortaleza- Sarmiento of DZMQ-PBS-BBS and Rosemarie Ramoran of DZWM- DWTJ -CMN, both scoring 81.
Other top finishers are Nerichsky Calma (DZRR ABS), Maira Geneva Wallis (DZRR TV3 ABS), Eliezer Evangelista (DWKT), Ria Lou Galiste (DWRD TV7- ABSCBN), Al Hadji Rieta (DWRD), Alfrance Vallesteros (DZWM-DWTJ), Mark Jansen Magdirila (DWRD), Adelaida Valerio (DZRD- SSMS), Juvelyn Salaguinto (DWCM- PBC), Helen Saliwan (DZWM DWTJ), Pagasa Goldamir Balueg (DZRR TV 3), Ron Molina (DZRR), Marcos Ranit Jr. (DZWM-DWTJ), Lemuel Dino Visperas (DZWN), Dan Ray Gapuz (DZSO-NBN), Gladys Gabriel Espinola (DZRR), Ada Marie Sibayan (DZRR), and Lewie Ann Joyce Bueno (DWEC).
