AQUACULTURE DEVELOPMENT – Speaker Jose de Venecia, Jr. and Gov. Victor Agbayani welcome officials of the People’s Republic of China led by Chinese Ambassador Li Jinjun who expressed interest in the province’s efforts at developing and promoting the white shrimp species Peneaus Vannamei. Development of the province’s aquaculture industry is spearheaded by the National Fisheries Research and Technology Demo Center of the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources based in Dagupan City.
