Duque lauds JCI Dagupan
CIVIL Service Commission (CSC) chairman Francisco Duque III has commended JCI Dagupan Inc. for its enduring traditions of leadership development and at the same time challenged the group to continue with its contributions to Dagupan City.
Duque, the 60th Diamond Anniversary of JCI Dagupan Inc.’s guest speaker last February 12, called on the new set of officers and members to carry on with their professional, social and personal development.
In turn, the JCI members, led by 2011 president Jack dela Cruz, feted Duque, one of the former JCI Dagupan Inc. officers, for his dynamic leadership and passion for excellence.
The group also cited the reforms introduced by Duque to the CSC.
Meanwhile, Vice Mayor Belen Fernandez said the city has so much to learn and thank from the Jaycees for their programs and activities.
“The relentless efforts of generations of men and women who believe in the power and influence of civic engagement is the true story of the growth and development of Dagupan,” she said.
The anniversary celebration was held in conjunction with the annual induction and turnover ceremonies attended by JCI World executive vice president Dennis Cunanan, national president Bernard Dy, past national presidents and 300 Jaycees from various parts of the country.
