Doctors sponsor PADUGO Golf Tour

Doctor-golfers in Pangasinan recently formed a group and called themselves Pangasinan Doctors United in Golf (PADUGO) to provide an avenue for camaraderie and socialization among themselves. One of the objectives of the club is to raise funds for the charity patients of Pangasinan Medical Society.

Thus, on October 22, 2006 they sponsored the first ever golf tournament at the Bonuan Golf Course open to all golfers from the province and invited friends from Baguio.

On hand to award trophies to winners was the president of the Pangasinan Medical Society, Dr. Marlon Rebosa, together with the president of PADUGO, Dr. Rod Segui.

Winners were Richie Abalos, lowest gross champion, and Dr. Rod Segui, lowest net champ. OJ Nolasco, Class A Champion; Arnold Lioanag, 1st runner up; Ed Sorio, 2nd runner up;

Dr. Rey Aquino, Doctors Division Champion; Boy Balingit, 1st runner-up ; Smart Co, 2nd runner up;

Norman Velasco ,Class C Champion; Oscar Lim, 1st runner up; Butch Bernal, 2nd runner  up.

The doctors would like to thank the pharmaceutical companies and individuals who helped fund the tournament.
