COLORS OF LIGHT–Former President Fidel V. Ramos (extreme right), former First Lady Ming Ramos and former Senator Leticia Ramos Shahani join 92-year old Lucia “Auntie Lucing” Mangapit Najera Valdez (center) after the biographical book on her was formally presented to her by the former President at the book launching last 14 January 2011 at the Pandanggo Room of the Manila Hotel. Authored by Dagupeno-born Melandrew Velasco, Colors of Light is a 200-page visual delight, which, aside from Lucia’s interesting life story, also includes selection of almost 100 full-color paintings, alongside the poems which were written for it. Also in photo are MTVI creative director Michelle Cabrera and Velasco.
