Redevelopment of Bonuan Beach People’s Park set

DAGUPAN Mayor Benjie S. Lim issued on October 12 an executive order (EO) creating the “Task Force Redevelopment of Bonuan Blue Beach People’s Park”, also known as the Tondaligan Beach.

The task force will be composed of City Engineer Ma. Virgina V. Rosario, chairman; City Tourism Chief Rose Mary T. Mejia, vice chair; Executive Assistant III Deborah Castillo, co vice-chair; Lim as honorary chairman; and City Administrator Vladimir T. Mata, honorary vice chairman.

The members are Planning Officer IV Emmanuel Palaganas; Engineer III Athena I. Arenas; Engineer IV Augusto Cesar C. Ventinilla; Architect III Ceceale P. Villamil, One Stop Business Center Officer Carmen Q. Olpindo, Assistant City Legal Officer Roy Laforteza, Tondaligan Park Administrator Arturo M. Calaguio, City Social Welfare Development officer-in-charge Leila O. Natividad; Community Affairs Officer II Joseph C. Bacani, Executive Assistant III Maximo Alexis Tan and Technical Consultant Ernesto Dispo.

Lim said that the task force will formulate policies in the administration, management, operation and maintenance of the park.

“Preparing plans and design for the development and improvement of the park shall be their duty,” he said, adding that “they should also assist shed owners, shanties and occupants of structures along the beach front of the park for possible relocation and livelihood assistance. (CIO)
