Giant Multi-Purpose Center rising at CSI-The City Mall
ANOTHER DAGUPAN LANDMARK
Soon, Pangasinenses will be flocking to a huge multi-purpose center, bigger than the Dagupan Astrodome, to witness major trade exhibits, sports events, musical concerts and political rallies in Dagupan City.
The center with 7,000-seating capacity, is being built by CSI Group of Companies at a sprawling one-hectare lot in barangay Lucao, Dagupan City beside the CSI The City Mall, will be the first-of-its kind to be built by a private firm in Pangasinan.
Belen Fernandez, CSI Group of Companies president, said once completed, the structure will further boost to Dagupan’s position as a major trade and business capital in the region.
She said the presence of the center will entice more people to come to Dagupan, encourage more investors, and help small entrepreneurs showcase their products, among others.
She cited the center’s impact in promoting government’s “One Town-One Product” project by providing a major venue for trade fairs and exhibits where Pangasinan towns and cities can promote their respective distinctive products.
CSI, with three existing malls in Dagupan City alone, has given a new face to the shopping industry in the city comparable with those of other progressive cities and has earned its share of loyal clientele.
A reputable company in mall industry, CSI is undertaking several charitable projects that endeared it to the consuming public.
It now has branches in the cities of San Carlos City, Alaminos, Urdaneta, Malasiqui and soon in Bayambang town as well as in La Union. It will open soon its Candon, Ilocos Sur branch.—EVA
