ATTY. Napoleon Arenas Jr., a Dagupeño, was unanimously elected vice president for Luzon Area of the Philippine Accreditation of Voluntary Arbitrators (PAVA) during the National Convention of Voluntary Arbitrators held in Cebu City on October 11, 2010.

ARENAS

Arenas is currently the president of the Federation of Voluntary Arbitrators (FAIR) in Region I.

The other elected officers are Atty. Manuel Legaspi, president; Atty. Delia Uy, executive vice president; AVA Angel Ancheta, VP for NCR; Atty. Rolando Lim, VP for Visayas; Atty. Alfredo Olivda, VP for Mindanao; Atty. Alan Montano, Secretary; Atty. Cynthia Barrit, Treasurer; AVA Sotero Trinidad, Auditor and Atty. Enerio Sibulao, PRO.

The newly elected officers will formally take their oath of office on December 1, 2010 before Secretary Rosalinda Baldoz of DOLE.
